Forgiveness + The Art of Letting Go
We often talk about the need to forgive, or the benefits of forgiveness. But what does forgiveness really look like? Who benefits from it, us or those we forgive? Why is it so easy to talk about, but so difficult to practice? Why is it so hard to let go? To forgive is not to forget. To forgive is not to deny the hatred or anger we may feel toward those who have done terrible things. These emotions are human. But to forgive is to set someone free, and then realize it was you. It is to unchain you from the perpetrator, even if the perpetrator is you. Join us as we start a conversation around forgiveness and explore one man’s journey deep into the heart of pain, betrayal, empathy, forgiveness, and happiness.
